I hope this isn't a repeat, but I don't see original post.
I'm running Vent 3.0.1 on a macbook pro with Leopard 10.5. I using a Logitech usb gaming headset. The issue I'm having is voice dropping out after a random amount of time. I can hear perfectly, and the transmit key lights up green, but no voice is transmitted. I've checked the voice in game chat, and it works fine. I'm playing World of Warcraft. I've checked immediately after a drop, and ingame chat works fine, but voice in Vent is broken. I can get it to come back, but i have to quit Vent, unplug headset, and then replug it. I can then start Vent and it will work for a while, but the same thing will happen again. Is there something I can do to stop this problem? It didn't start happening until the newest patch for Vent. Thank you very much for taking the time to help. |

My wife is having the same problem on her Vent as well. She will be playing WoW and talking and then suddenly her mic will quit. She can hear everyone talking but can't get her mic to activate.

Are each of you using Push-to-Talk? What key do you have bound? What kind of mic/headset do each of you have? What type of Mac? What version of OS X?

Are you plugging the headset into a USB hub? If so, try plugging it directly into the computer.
If that doesn't work, try a different headset. |
