I would definitely buy this application, let me explain why:
1) 3g network support is now available on AT&T i use it with other voip clients. 2) it gives you more freedom to communicate with your gaming friends. I understand that using it for actual gaming sessions is unpractical, but its still a great communication tool that can be useful in many occasions. For example, you are running late to a gaming session because you got stuck on traffic after work, and you need a tool that allows you to quickly enter your Ventrilo channel and tell your friends that you are only 10 minutes away, and to please wait for you before entering any dungeons. Please reconsider making this application for the iPhone, i'm sure you are missing out a great opportunity. |

with VOIP now allowed we need an App for the iPhone, even if it is limited to just wifi

It says there is a new post but I don't see it. Has anyone looked into this now that iphone 4 has VIOP wifi support?

Well about a week ago there was an app in the app store for a vent iPhone client but Apple pulled for licensing issues so it is possible to run vent on the iPhone so let's hope that the ventrilo dev team will get on this and get us an app real soon
