Server querying in PHPNuke

This isn't really a support question for the vent server, more of a direct question for FlagShip. However it is more directed toward the server than the client so I decided to put it in this section for want of a more suitable one.

Anyway, to cut to the chase. I have made use of your excellent PHP status scripts and cobbled together a module for the web portal system, PHPNuke. This gives the general server layout complete with connected clients, and a graphical link to connect to that server. All what was there in the original scripts but ready made to plug into PHPNuke as a module. What I need to ask is if I have your permission as copyright holder to use the Ventrilo logo within the module before I go ahead and release this module for other PHPNuke webmasters to download and use on their own websites. Of course, if I am to release this module (pending your approval) it will be done for free and under the usual open source guidelines. Also a note of the copyright notices regarding the Ventrilo name and logo are referenced within the installation documentation I have made.

If you do not approve of the use of the logo within the module I will replace it before making it available for download.

I appreicate your interest in the module. It is all pretty much completed and just awaiting the blessing of the big man.

If I am not allowed to distribute the image with the module, I will take it out and any users will have to choose what image (if any) they wish to use for the connect link.

Anyhow, I will make it available for download (in whatever format depending on Flag's view) on my webiste soon.

I too am Intered in trying this i am running a PNP site and would really like to have this i had one for my TEAM SPEAK. so yes i would love to beta test it for ya.

Ok, I have made this module (without any graphics included) available for download on my clan's website [url]www.ur-gaming.com[/url]. You will need to register in order to access the downloads (a bit big brother, I know, just easier for me to keep track of things) but wont take you long. If the need arises I may make a support section for it on my forum anyhow so registering may be a bonus for users in the long run

Anyway, good luck, and enjoy. Feedback of course is welcome

I've been racking my brain trying to come up with something like this. I'm glad there are much smarter people tahn me out there with similar problem.

However, I followed this link and it doesn't go to anything but advertising. Could someone please relink to the module? please? pretty please?

Any help would be appreciated greatly.

Hi, is this topic still going?

I tried registering on the website earlier and it won't let me - when I click the sign up link it takes me straight back to the login screen.

I ask because the gaming clan I'm a member of runs Ventrilo and if we had TS we'd not have a problem finding a server monitor showing channels etc. Ventrilo? Almost impossible and the few links that look promising are either dead, faulty or not what I'm looking for.

I'd love to see your script if that's at all possible and I've just downloaded the PHP scripts from here. I've been contemplating writing a module and/or block for PHP Nuke for a while.

The only Ventrilo script that does display how I'd like it is written using Javascript. I converted it into a PHP Nuke block and you can see it working here: [url]http://nsdq.pictureinthesky.net[/url]
