Sound cutoff when someone speaks.

So today I purchased the WoW headset which is a really big upgrade from my previous one. But soon i discovered that when someone talks in vent, just the second they use their PTT button it shortly interrupts my music or whatever else is playing. It is very annoying especially with more than one person in vent because it is as if the sound for my music mutes for like .5 seconds then starts playing normally. The volume doesn't lower when someone speaks it just has this short cutoff.

is that headset usb or standard plugs?

did you check for solutions in the stickies?

Computer type? OS Version? Vent version? As mentioned, did you walk through the Ventrilo Setup Guide stickied at the top? If so, double check your settings and let us know what doesn't match up.

.. This could also be a setting enabled by the vent admin as well, correct me if I'm wrong here tho
