codec problems.... cant hear or talk

when i connect i get ... failed to get encoder for specified codec. this client platform currently supports only the speex codec. the server and or channel is configured to use the gsm 6.10 codec .

i see alot of post about these codecs but i have no idea what this means.... any help?

have the server admin change the default server codec to speex to allow MAC compatibility.

Can you explain to me how to Change it to Speex?

I am currently renting a server hosting from a website called leetvent (directed to by you guys) do i need to contact them? or is there a way i can change the codec myself?

They have a "fully-integrated control panel". That likely means you can change it yourself in the control panel. If not, then contact their support department.

Is there a special place to look for the Control Panel to change the server codec to SPEEX because I am not seeing it. I could be totally missing it thought :P

Any information to help me locate this would be appreciated. Thanks.
