Others can't hear me

I'm not sure if the problem is in my Vent or Mac settings, but I'm hoping to get some advice that would help. I can log into Vent, hear everyone else and my speaker icon even turns green when I'm pressing my PTT key. I can hear Vent & WoW in the headset. I've tried attaching the mic via the headset and directly to the mic jack, but others can't hear me.

Any suggestions? Thanks!!!

what type of headset, analog or usb? as MAC can not use standard analog mic.

which mac?

This indicates you're using a standard PC analog headset. This will not work. Get a USB headset or a USB-converter, such as the Griffin iMic.

I guess that would be it. I didn't know I could not use a standard mic. I'll exchange it this weekend and see how it works. Thanks for your help! I knew someone would have an easy answer!
