I can download it, but when I try to open it I get "can't be opened because it is from an unidentified developer". I tried opening it using the Terminal as suggested elsewhere, to no result.
I have also tried downloading using Safari or Firefox, different times of the day, phases of the moon, and cussing. Thank you for your attention. |

in the system preferences > security > general section, try setting the 'allow apps downloaded from' to 'anywhere'
