Cant use PTT while in game

I recently had to replace my hard drive. and now since i have re-installed vent, I cannot use the PTT while in game. I actually have to click/switch to the Vent program in order to speak, can anyone help? Keep in mind, I am a complete computer Idiot. But never had this problem before.

Which Windows are you using??I had the same problem with Vista.Right click the icon and log in as an admin solved my problem
