Caps Lock turns off mic in Diablo 3

Hello please help I suck at this computer stuff. I have a windows 10 system with 64bit operating system, amd fx-8350 8 core 4ghz. i have no idea what sound card or whatever but ventrilo has never ever worked well for me. When i hit caps lock my mic shuts of and shortly after ill get a disconnected from server error. Please fix or i may never talk to my friends again lol.

need some info first:

are you using PTT or voice-activation in vent?
if PTT what key are you using?
if you're using capslock as the PTT then try testing by setting it to a different key, like ctrl, alt, or shift

or try this:
rt-clik in vent window > misc > gui ignore keys

DXDIAG
(note: this will provide a basic overview of the system configuration)

Win-XP/7 - Click on the Windows Start button (left corner of taskbar)
Win 8/10 – Right-click on the Windows Start button (left corner of taskbar, window pane icon)

Select RUN then enter DXDIAG

Click the 'Save All' button
File is saved to the desktop as "DxDiag.txt"
Copy/paste the information (up to, and including, the [PS/2 Devices] section) to the forum. The information might have to be separated into multiple posts due to the maximum character limitation.

Once you start the program, find the advanced settings for either Applications or Internet. Look for any/all entries of Ventrilo and remove them. While here you can re-enter Ventrilo into the list. There should be an option to “Add” a program to the list by clicking a “Browse” button. The default path for Ventrilo is C:\PROGRAM FILES\VENTRILO (your harddrive letter may be different).

you need to contact your hosting company. we do not have access to private servers.
