Hi all
im currently having 2 problems with my ventrilo... first aint that baad, but many people say it sounds like im sitting on a toilet, the sound effect that would give... the secund more anoying seriusly problem is that i some times fade out, as if im moving further and further away from the mic, witch i aint XD... first i thout it would be the mic since my headset is abaut 4 years old, however i use the same mic/headset on my other computer witch aint having any of these problems... secund i thout it might be couse by some program i have had open but checking what i have open every time it happens just dosent give anything either... have had a shitload of other ideers what it could be but i cant seem to figure it out... at this time im getting rather desparate... cant have 2 computers turned on all day becouse of this and i cant play on that old peace of junk where it aint a problem XD a few facts... troubled computer windows vista, 32bit sounds card is something like Realtek high definition audio on the other comp where vent works fine windows xp pro onboard soudcard |

try going to the realtek audio manager/speakers tab/sound effects section and disable all effects (environment=none) select the microphone tab and mute the playback volume |
