Conflict with Logitech mouseware

I am using the current Logitech mouseware drivers for my optical mouse. All day long I am able to double click by pressing the wheel as I configured it to do, but as soon as I open Ventrilo 3.0, that capability is gone. (This did not occur in the previous Ventrilo client version) When I close Ventrilo, I can occasionally again double click by pressing the wheel, but most times it doesn't come back until I reboot. It is not a big deal for me, but hopefully the Ventrilo programmers will take note of this possible software conflict.

what version of mouseware?
which mouse?
could you post a screenshot of the mouseware config.
