Motd

I run a vent server and I was trying to make a message, Happy Thanksgiving! on turkey day and regular MOTD wouldn't do anything I'd type it and send and it'd be blank when I'd look again and I'd log in and out and nothing. So I used Guest MOTD and that worked but now I can't clear it! I've cleared it 6 times I've tried everything it woln't go away ><

did you give yourself the permissions to edit both motd's?
in server properties, is the box for the motd checked?
also, in the UE-display tab, the 'see motd' box checked?

ok wow it took me forever to figure out what you were talking about! User Editor... I figured it out it seams to be working, thanks. you need to elaborate more =P

ok all that crap is checked and I still can't get that guest moto to clear! >< I just never realized it's been there for weeks because I don't see it when I log in. Somone finally told me today it's still there.

I've been having the same problem with this for a while too. I set the Guest Message of the Day and I just can't seem to make it go away. I am the admin, I have it set to not always display. When I edit it, I clear the box, and i'll open it again and it wont be there. But when I disconnect and reconnect the text is back again. There has to be something I can do because i'm tired of all the complaints I get about it.

I figured I would check here, along with googleing my problem but nowhere can I find a solution..

Anybody?
