Please change this to unlimited, or atleast 5 at one time.

I am very 'put off' (to say the least) by this...

Thanks Flag.
Not going to happen. It's a server requirement and is to prevent conflicts. Besides, it should only be an issue as you add new account during the next few days.

I did make a note to my self just now to have the UE automatically close after X minutes if there is no activity. Might not be in 3.0.1 but maybe a client there after.

Default a possible addition?

Just wondering if it would be possible to have it to where you can make ranks and assign them to people but you don't have to have them showing in the vent server itself.

It makes the names all misaligned and then you have a bunch of people with the rank in front of their name.

I like in 2.x where it was just the name showing.

I figure if there are going to be new functions then we might as well embrace them.

Just hoping we can have ranks but be able to hide them.

Thanks.

Since the patch my mic picks up alot of dead "air" sound. Before the patch it ran crystal clear. Could this be due to some audio input "tweaks" that happened in 3.0?

Windows XP Pro SP2
On-Board 5.1 HD Realtek Audio
No Other apparent audio monitoring apps running in backgroud.
Standard Audio Jack connection
DirectSound Input used.

I say allow the 'Guest' status, be a rank that cannot be deleted - however - can be renamed to like, visitor / noob etc...

yes it could be. In order to support the per-channel codecs we had to change a few things in regard to the sound input device. It's possible that your realtek didn't like these.

is there a plug-in card that has this chipset? Its been known to have problems on 2.3 as well as I recall.

Since the patch, I have not been able to install it. Like some others, I continuously get:
"Error 1305. Error reading from file: C\:Program Files\Common Files\Wise Installation...(so on)"

Can you please find a way to fix this problem or provide a solution??

But it's not a rank. It's a state.

Its not something we can fix. It's a flaw in the MS Windows Installer and some things have been found to fix it. Please direct your request to thread specific to this topic since it is something that is out of my control.
