The fastest way for you to get information is..
If you need the current version you need to go to the Ventrilo Download Page. Are you having a problem? You can start by reading The FAQ. If you haven't, and the answer is there, there will be no response to your question. Questions about installing Client/Server? Try reading The Setup Instructions. Questions about various server parameter/settings? In the instalaton directory, there is a ventrilo_srv.htm file, read it. If the above pointers still do not provide an answer to your question/problem, prior to posting a question, use the Forum Search Function 1. At the top of this screen, there is a feature called search. Left click on it. 2. in the input box 'Search Forums' fill in: (appropriate search words) for example: having problems binding wave files? input: binds wave problems with codecs? input: codecs (and any additional pertinent info) questions about bandwidth usage? input: bandwidth 3. directly below that, you will see Advanced Search. Click it to perform a more refined search. There are thousands of threads in these forums, there is a very high likelyhood that any question you have, has been asked before. Use the Search prior to posting please. The Ventrilo Developers, can get alot more coding done, improving the product, if they are not constantly having to answer the same questions over and over. Before posting make sure that all OS service packs (patches) have been applied and that you have the latest drivers for your sound card installed. If you do post a question on the support forum please provide the following information: 1) Operating System (OS) 2) Sound Card 3) Game being played (if any) 4) Your Ventrilo Setup - Screen shots if possible.
