Default This is good!

Signs of progress. I don't have a mac but have many friends that do and to see this forum open is a positive sign. I don't know were in developement your mac client is but if you do or are close to having a beta client then you should release it for testing. Many mac users have been waiting so long that they would be willing to help test a beta version. The more systems you get that running on the quicker you may find any errors in it and get the official version out there.
Being a beta version they should know its not finished. Plus you could issue a warning with the download that is is not a fully developed product and is still in testing.

Good thought, though I'm pretty sure Flagship would want to keep the initial alpha/beta test group fairly small. Organizing the feedback and input from (for example) just the mac users playing WoW would require a small fleet of people. Feedback from a few dedicated, responsive, and articulate testers is all you really need until after usability bugs are all worked out.

That said, i'm more than willing to test the thing out if needed. I have the windows client humming along nicely, and OSX macs of various vintage available for testing.

Cheers Flagship. Thanks for your work on the Mac client, and for opening up the boards for us.

I'm a member of an adults only guild (www.theoldergamers.com) with over 6000 members worldwide that runs a dedicated Venty server for all our members. Several of our WoW division members (including me) would be more than happy to help test the Mac client.

P.S. I am personally a Mac SW Engineer (ex-Apple even.)

Yeah really, after waiting so long why not just make it public beta. Even if all the damn thing did was give me the ability to HEAR what's going on... I'd appreciate that. I know this post is going to just be ignored, but... can we atleast get SOMETHING to let us know that it's being worked on? It's been so long and all we have is In Development.
