everything works well, but i've been having an issue with some guests, so wanted to turn off the "see channels" selection in the user editor.
so unchecked they cant see the channels, which is good. And they can transmit, which is also good. but under certain conditions they cant see or hear members in the same channel. this behavior is dependent on who joins last;

I have the same problem and I think it is a Ventrilo bug. Together with "See channels" turned off is another options like "See non-guest accounts" and "Receive broadcast streams" (if guest is in channel without registered users in current session).
