MSG: Contacting Server

I have new Macbook Pro. I've been using vent with no problems with my guild. Today this message pops up - "Contacting Server". Both my wife and I are unable to log on - all the rest of the guild no problem. All my server addresses, port, passwords are correct. The vent is set to speex. I reinstalled vent and removed all preferences. I made a new user. None of that worked. Any help?

sounds like a firewall problem or maybe just a problem with your router. you may try power cycling your router to ensure that is not the problem.
