well, i would like to have the G4 as push to talk button on ventrilo.
but when i click on G4 v entrilo see it as W

well there is no beta program so where can i get ventrilo that can have g keys on it etc

let me see if i can help
down near the clock if you have the logitech G15 software installed there will be an icon that is a small black box with G1, double click it, then on the keyboard make sure the M1 button on the top left is pushed and glowing, then press the MR button that is just to the right of the M1 button so it becomes lit as well, then push the G4 key since you want to use that to PTT, then press a key on the keyboard that is not used by the application you will be using during vent (the ` beside the 1 key or what ever) then press the MR button again so it is no longer lit up, now go into the vent setup and assign the key you pressed (` or whatever) as the push to talk key. and you should be set. in the box from the first part what is a picture of the G keys beside the G4 it should say quick macro, thats how you know the key is set correctly.
