Lately, I have been having unpredictable ping, one minute being at 46, then shooting up all the way to 20k+.
I usually play World of Warcraft while on vent, if this is of any importance. I have reinstalled Vent/Restarted my Computer/made sure the vent's location is correct, and now I am coming to these forums for help. Thanks |

who's your ISP?
run a bandwidth test when the ping shoots up - www.speedtest.net try powering off the modem-router-pc (in that order) for at least 60 seconds each (this will clear all cached data) Temporarily disable all firewall/virus applications perform a traceroute to the server when it happens and post the results: open a terminal session traceroute serverhostname(found in server setup) |
