You can use this API service [url]http://bit.ly/ventrilostatus[/url] (open "API Usage" spoiler on the page). There are json and xml format output supported.
But it does not work with Ventrilo 4.x servers because status tool is not available for public.

Ventrilo server status is one of the important information. I think there should be some individual custom mobile app development for this need which can provide high productivity for providing information.
