if it's stuck at syncing then something is blocking port 6100 UDP. try temp disabling all firewall/virus/spyware checkers. also try resetting the router while it's stuck.

Check to see if your poirt 6100 is open. Also, we do not know if your host is active. Try to ping the host and see if you get a response.

Start > Run > Cmd
ping (hostname/IP)

Example - my host is 10.4.39.167 so I would:
ping 10.4.39.167
in the command prompt. If there is a reply, then you're in good shape; then its a software issue. -We hate to hit and miss, without the important info.

well, that's not a good sign but it could be that ping packets are being blocked somewhere.

is your server up and running: http://ventrilo.com/status.php

try the tracert command (like the ping)

tracert {hostname}

try the telnet test:

start > run > cmd
telnet servername port#

(where servername={the server you want to connect to} and port#={port associated with that server}
(ex: telnet 75.125.43.51 3784 or telnet www.myserver.com 3784 )

if it doesn't connect then something is blocking it. try temporarily disabling all firewall/virus/spyware checkers
