Hi i got vent and couldnt hear or talk so i can now hear and talk but when i say things there is alot of static. If i have the line in mic setup and the volum turned up they can ehar me but alot of static to. If i change the settings little bit it gives a loud jolt of static and no voice. People have reported static problems on the software side of Ventrilo before, but likely its just your hardware (Mic) thats causing the problem. Check your connections, or better yet go out and buy a Plantronics or Sennheiser USB headset.

If it is a software static issue closing out Ventrilo, reloading and reconnecting would solve it temporarily.
