I bought a new G930 wireless headset.
Basically, regardless of push-to-talk, or voice activated mode. Using the But, in vent channels, push-to-talk nor voice-activation works. I simply cannot talk in vent. I've tried re-installing vent, and updating the headset software. Nothing works! What should I do/try? (thanks in advance) |

I am having the same exact problem.
The push to talk works inside the setup to TEST it. But otherwise it will not work at all. I tried reinstalling it, I downloaded the newest version. I did everything I can think of... deleted the registry and everything related to vent and reinstalled that way as well and still nothing. The mute button is not checked, the settings are correct. What in gods name is wrong with this? I have no idea whats wrong with it. Can someone please help, as this is a REALLY annoying bug. Edit: And yes, I am running it in admin mode too. The problem is, it just stopped working all of a sudden when I plugged in my G35 headset. And now it will not work at all. Tried restore point even, thats how far I went. does your icon turn green when keying up?
did you install the latest driver from logitech for the g35? in vent setup, did you set the input device to enable 'use directsound' then set the name to g35 mic is 'enable outgoing comms' checked Testing the Microphone with Windows (the microphone must work here before it will work with any voice-comm program) Windows XP Control-Panel / Sounds and Audio / Voice Tab / Test Hardware Button Windows Vista/Windows 7 Programs / Accessories / Sound Recorder / create a recording then save it Windows Media Player (WMP) / playback recording try plugging it into a different usb port, preferably one on the back of the pc. |
