PTT Key Jams down since 3.0.12 upgrade

Hi,

I updated my OS X box (10.7.2 with Ventrilo 3.0.12) when the new version notification showed up in my Vent client the other night. I now can't use Vent at all because my PTT key, F13 (Prt Screen) is jamming down in Vent when I tap it. No key-presses on any key releases it, only entering and leaving the Setup dialog works. I don't even know if it's transmitting properly as I was unable to properly test it as a result of the fault.

Enable Universal Access for Assistive Devices is enabled and 3.0.9 worked fine.

does the same problem happen if you test with a different ptt key?

Yup, I've tried a dozen keys, and using the Macro keys or the main keyboard (Logitech G110).

I think I got a solution. I dumped all my preferences and the Ventrilo App and did a clean setup from scratch and now it seems to work okay. I don't know if it;s co-incidence but if you are experienced at this stuff then you could give it a try.

To clear out you preferences, got to /Users//Library/Preferences and look for a folder named 'Ventrilo'.

PLEASE NOTE: you will lose all your server entries, username entries, logs and preferences. BACK UP the folder before you delete it!

Remove the Ventrilio folder to the Trash. When you open Ventrilo again it will start from ground-zero and ask if you want to follow the online tutorial.
