I know this has been brought up once before, but I thought I'd mention it again just to be safe.
Ventrilo currently saves its preference files in ~/ventrilo. On the Mac, user preference files go in ~/Library/Preferences, so ~/Library/Preferences/ventrilo would be what you want. Thanks, Wade |

There's one other detail. While the directory for preferences is ~/Library/Preferences/, the name for preferences is supposed to be reverse domain formatted, so:
/Users/username/Library/Preferences/com.ventrilo.ventrilo.txt would be an example of the default naming convention. |

True. If he wants to create a directory in preferences, it should really be:
~/Library/Preferences/com.ventrilo.preferences or some such. Wade |
