windows7 32 bit wnt run setup

Hey guys im downloading vent for my new laptop which is running
windows 7 at 32bit and i can download the setup client fine to desktop but when i run it i have this error message:

C:\Users\Carlo\Desktop\ventrilo-3.0.5 setup.exe is not a valis win32 application.

Any one that could help i would be great full as i am renting 2 servers atm and need to get back into them asap.

sounds like a firewall/virus checker has modified the file.

try temp disabling those (or any download manager) and re-download the file.

okay thanks but dont think i have a firewall or anythiing running atm ill check it out and post back

nope still dosent work when have anti virus disabeld and firewall off :/ any other ideas?

try saving the file to a separate folder instead of the desktop.
