Not hearing voices

Others state they can hear me, but I can't hear them. Their speakers light up green for me when I'm in the same room. I also don't hear sounds after the initial login chime (change channels, others join server, etc.).

I tested the sounds within Vent and they play fine, just not when I'm in a room.

This is new and was working before. It just started happening. I haven't changed any settings or anything.

what OS are you running?

on vent main window at bottom, is 'mute sound' box checked

in vent setup/voice-binds-speech tabs, set the output to enable 'use directsound' then set the name to sigmatel speakers
