Connection

Hi ventrilo guys
lemme start by saying u guys do a great job with vent.
Anyway dont flame me lol Im looked but I cant find a post that answers my specific question. I got a free vent server set up and I can connect to it but my friends cant. I had them try my IP the ip ent said (127.0.0.1 and that other one 195. something) but we cant seem to get it to work...
any help would be greatly appreciated
Im not super computer smart but I have 2 computers in my house. One has the cable modem and mine has a USB router that the modem transmits wirelessly to. While logged in as server admin making login names let them connect?
