Default About logon timeout

Hi,

I have a little trouble with my server status. (do I have to put my IP on it?)

It said "Ventrilo server is not responding." while me and my friends still connected in Ventrilo. So.....I have to re-run Ventrilo Server in order to get my status back online .

So....do I have to set LogonTimeout=0 or 99999 (something like that to make it always log-able?

i am not sure what your problem is regarding, the server or client?
more detail would help.

if you are trying to setup your own server, look at the stickies in the server forum.

alright, here is the thing :

I got the free server up and running, everything was fine. But after 5-10 minutes, i check my server status , it said the server is not responding.... . However, my friends and I still in the ventrilo client talking and chatting, it's just that no one can log on until i restart my server

remember that the free server has a max client count of 8.
and if you are hosting it go into the server properties and disable the timeout feature.

this may help

this only works if you are the one hosting tho..
