I have someone who knows my main password on my vent account and he is no longer allowed to use it, how do I change that? When i log into my account where i purchased my account, there is no option to change my account password.

are you referring to your vent username password, the 'Server Admin' password or the password to access the hosting company's control-panel?

are you the server admin ?
if so.. log into the website of your vent hosting -go to configuration ( there will be some type of way to do this, this is where you change the name of your server ) -locate server password -change password -click update (or save) this may restart your server !! BE VERY CAREFUL!! because if you change this password and you have the authentication level set to require users to use the password every user that does not have an account will have to change their password. IF this is on your vent client side -log into your vent as a server admin -rt click go to server admin -user editor -select your name -change your password under the info tab -update (or save) LOG OFF VENT -change your password on your client (under the server info located under your user name) -log back into vent. |
