OS: Windows Vista x64
Sound Card: HT/Omega Striker 7.1 Device: Creative USB Headset I'm having trouble hearing several others on Ventrilo on this new system. Changing the volume sliders for each user appears to do nothing (they seem to be at the same volume whether I have them at 100% or +800%). I can hear half the users just fine, but the ones that are too low stay low regardless of the volume setting. Some have even tried turning their outbound to the maximum, yet they are still at the same volume. I was able to adjust these people on my previous system just fine (Windows XP x32, onboard sound, same USB headset). Have I missed something? |

in vent setup/voice-binds-speech tabs, is the output device set to Creative USB.
also try testing with checking or unchecking 'use directsound' what codec/format is the server using? rt-clik in window/view/server browser does the headset require a driver? if yes, is it up to date? |
