The voice morph thing is exactly the problem. When voice morph is disabled the ventrillo monitor shows abs zero when not talking and the mic stays open 100% of the time. However, when you enable voice morph the monitor now shows 0 when not talking and the mic turns on and off as it should. Frustrating....

Well, got something from Logitech but it's not good. They've discontinued the G930 headset.

ventrilo version 3.0.7 is now available at the download site. includes support for the G930 headset

you must also install the latest G930 driver from Logitech

The update for ventrilo did not change the Voice Morphing problem. It still says "abs Zero" But if you put one of the stupid mutant or mouse voice on it works perfectly.... Its ridiciulous...

im having same problem, if i don't use PTT my mic is always transmitting. if i go to monitor i see

well, i sort of found a fix. playing with my G930 settings program. i set my microphones volume down and its working now.

tknarr gave a good suggestion. Activate any of the morphed voices and you should be fine. I had the same problem and this was the solution.

It's a pity not even the most dedicated reviews on the [URL="http://www.logitechg930.net/"]G930[/URL] don't address this problem.

Can you guys please look at the Ventrilo log file to see if anything is showing up in there.

Right click - View - Log file

I recently experienced this my self a week ago but have not been able to duplicate it since in order to follow my own suggestion.
