Unable to select input boxes

I just downloaded the program for my 2009 macbookpro, having used it for my desktop and also for windows on this same computer.

I installed it, entered my user name, then clicked on the arrow next to "server" to input the hostname and port number. For some reason I can't click on the boxes to input the information. I can click on any of the other buttons, I was able to type in my username, and I can click on new server and type in a new one, but I cannot type in any of the other boxes.

I tried tabbing thinking it would just tab to the box but that didn't work either. It is a really odd problem and would appreciate any help.

Click the New button first, then enter the information.

I'm not trying to make a new server. I'm just trying to enter the information for the one I use.

Nevermind figured it out. Thanks for your help. I was confused because when I put new it entered a port number for me.
