Need help with channel setup!

I'm new to vent. Im having a problem where I set the number of clients in a channel to 11 but it only lets 6 people join. Does anyone know what im doing wrong?

check this setting:

[FONT=Arial]There is a similar feature in the server and is controlled by the "ventrilo_srv.ini" option called "ChanClients". It works the same way but is global to all channels. If this is enabled and is smaller than any value you enter here then the servers configuration will take precedence over any channel specific max clients value. If the channel specific max clients is smaller than the server "ChanClients" value then it will take precedence.[/FONT]

When we can fit 10 people into our 10 (11) man channel we have no problem all fitting in the lobby.

i believe the lobby is exempt from these settings
