Disable Horizontal Scrolling?

Is there a way to disable the horizontal scrolling/scroll bar respectively the automatic movement of it when people add long comments to their names?

This behaviour is rather annoying. It doesn't scroll all the way to the right, it stops right where usernames start, covering up the speaker icons. It'd be nice if the Ventrilo client would just leave the bottom scroll bar where it is, I'd much rather move it myself if needed.

Working as intended or a bug? Nothing in the options to adjust, tried a few things without luck. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

what version of vent are you running?

my scroll bar stays where it should. version 3.0.5

Using Windows 7, x64. Ventrilo is on my secondary monitor but that shouldn't make a difference.

I have the same issue.

I am using Vista Home Premium x64
and version 3.0.8 of ventrilo

I am an admin of a heavily used public vent and it would make my job a bit easier.

Also, sorry for the necro post.

is the vent window positioned up against the far right side of the viewing area?

It is not. I try to keep the scroll bar on the left side at all times so I can see who is talking. The same problem would happen in my dual monitor setup as well. It seems to happen when someone logs in or out, which happens A LOT on my server. Also, in case you mean the entire vent window that is also offset from the right side of my monitor so I can see my windows sidebar.
