Unable to Change Channel

I'm running Windows 7 64 bit OS. Realtek onboard sound. Playing WoW. I'm able to use PTT and can chat with guild members. I'm unable to change channels on my own. I've tried both the 32 and 64 bit versions of Ventrilo 3.08. Everyone else in the guild is able to change channels on their own, I have to be dragged around to join raid channels.

Any ideas / help will be greatly appreciated.

have a server admin check your permissions for the 'switch channels' option. sounds like it's not enabled
