![]() ![]() So I picked up a pretty nice headset: http://www.creative.com/soundblaster/worldofwarcraft/welcome.aspx (The wireless version) Long story short, I went through a couple of the wired sets. Returned due to the connection jack failing and left ear completing failing on another. So I stepped up to the wireless setup. Now I have a few guildies saying "You sound great now, but it sounds like you're chopping a few words of the end of your sentences now.." I went through all my settings to see if I missed anything vital, even clicking ON the 'wireless headset' option in the "Global" tab. Is there any fine settings I might have missed? They're saying to just hold down the PTT longer and it seems to work, but that doesn't seem to be proper (I didn't have to hold my PTT down longer with the previous WIRED sets). 2GHx Intel core 2 Duo 4GB ram OX 10.5.8 |

I have experienced the same issue with wireless headsets. In general, they respond a tad more slowly than a physically attached device.
There is a setting in vent (open Vent->Setup->Global tab) which says Wireless Headset Tweak, which may help with your issue. That setting a tad mysterious as there is really no other information about what it does other than: "This option will enable or disable the wireless headset tweak. You should enable this feature if your headset is wireless like Bluetooth." I would give that a shot and see if it makes a difference. |
