possible to use gsm on mac?

Hi i was wondering if it is possible to use gsm network on a macintosh? this is because my friends are complaining that they cannot change it for now because the person who controlls it is not available.

and they are complaining that the quality on their side is not as good on speedx as well.

Please read the umpteen million other posts in the forum which basically say, "There's been no announcement made as to when the Mac client will support GSM," and "Make sure you are using the proper quality settings and that ALL Windows users download the latest beta release of the client, even if they themselves are not having any problems."
