I am running Mac OSX 10.8.2 and using Safari 6.0.2. When I click on the I agree (accept) button, I get returned to the downloads page and the client is not downloading. I've checked my downloads folder and its not in there. Not sure why it is doing this. I tried setting Cookies to always, I've turned the firewall off, and I've set in my security to also allow all apps to be downloaded. Not sure what else to do to get it to let me download.

Security tab in Safari Preferences has nothing to check regarding downloads. Only option is to Enable Java stuff and block pop ups. Pop ups is unchecked.
No browser plug-ins installed No clue where I would add the web url to the safe list. No option for that in Safari Prefs. |

I too am working using a Mac OS X 10.6.8 and am having the same problems when trying to download Ventrilo. The 'I agree' button keeps taking me back to the download page. Any suggestions please?

@ veecam
try this: goto safari preferences > security tab > temp uncheck 'block pop-up windows' do you have any extensions installed in safari? just to clarify, you don't see the download box on the Dock panel? Last edited by Prog-Rocker; 05-21-2013 at 09:54 AM. |

The download happens very quickly - as soon as I click the I Agree button, the download starts in the background and finishes with a couple of seconds.
Have you checked to see if it has already downloaded? If you have a downloads folder in your dock you can click on that icon to show what has downloaded. If you don't have an icon on your dock, here's where to find the downloads folders 1.Click the Finder icon in the dock (the one with a happy face on it) 2.In the window that opens, click on your home folder (it probably has your name on it) 3.In the list that appears on the right, double click the Downloads folder. |

No Unfortunately it hasn't downloaded anywhere and I have unchecked the pop up blocker - so I really have no other alternatives. Although I am at the workplace I have never had problems with firewall before, so am not too sure if it's a firewall issue. Any other alternative place from where I can download it?
