can not connect to guild server

this log only happens when i am trying to connect to my guilds server.
i can connect to the test servers on darkstarllc just fine.
is there something i am missing?

what does the window display before hitting connect on your server?

make sure you have the correct server info - http://ventrilo.com/status.php

the messages in the error log are from 2011

well that does change things...
but MSG:server is available press connect
and then gets stuck at MSG: connecting to server
it only happens when trying to connect to this server, even though ive typed in the ip, had someone else type in the ip, made sure that it wasnt an issue with typos.

let's try to telnet to the server:

open a terminal session and type the following:

telnet {servername or ipaddress} {port#}

example: telnet frost.pure-voice.net 3784

if it can't connect then you will see an error message stating this.

to connect to that server what port do i need to have open to not be blocked via my modem/router?
