Vent mic sound stops working.

Several times a day. I will be in vent and my microphone will stop working. I can hear others. Its not muted on the headset, computer or in vent. Ive checked and tested the mike using other programs and the mic works fine. The only way i have of fixing the issue is restarting my whole come. for logging out of vent and back in does not work. Please tell me there is a solution to the issue. Ive evern uninstalled and re installed the game and nothering.

as a test , create a bind key with 'reset sound input device' then use this when it stops.

any error messages in the vent log file? rt-clik / view / log file / scroll to bottom

are the sound device drivers up to date?

in vent setup, is the input box set to the name of the sound device you're using? try checking/unchecking 'use directsound'

does your icon turn green when it stops working?

what OS and soundcard are you using?
