Whenever i talk in vent my ping rockets from about 80-30000 and people say they cant make out waht im saying and it takes about 2-5 minutes for them to hear what i said. . I can hear everyone else perfectly and when i play any games i can talk in game and everyone can hear me.

does it lag if vent is the only app running?
what OS and soundcard are you using? is the soundcard driver up to date? Yes it lags when its the only program runnign my OS is Windows XP, souncard is Sigmatel Audio, Soundcard driver is up to date, upload bandwith is 1631

I think I've figured out what is causing this.
Looking through all the threads of people that have the issue, I've seen one commonality. We all use Shaw Cable. I don't know why this is happening, but I think we need to take this to Shaw Cable and figure it out. |

I came to this forum to complain of the same problem you're having. My trace is fine, my drivers are fine, everything is fine... but I'm using Shaw Cable. Shaw's up to no good again, gg.
