Hi - hoping someone might be able to help or has at least seen a similar problem.
When using Vent, my ping starts off fine, then steadily increases (I've had up to 21100) then I eventually get disconnected. Restarting Vent helps initially (sometimes) but then it jumps up again, voices are broken-up and I get huge lag (30secs+). I'm using a very recent iMac and BT Homehub. This happens both with the Windows version of Vent, via Crossover and also with the Mac version. I've done all the required port-forwarding, turned-off the Mac firewall and the Homehub firewall, no change. I was hoping you wouldn't say that! 11 months left on my contract.
Seems I'm not alone with this problem with BT though. I'll post any progress... |
