hey there!
i've run into a problem recently for some reason my headset would always be transmitting... i had it working for about 4 days where it would only transmit when it heard my voice but thing is.. when there's silence it still continues to transmit... i had the sensitivity at 5.. i even put it all the way up to 60 and it would continue to transmit i've tried uninstalling the client, uninstalling the headset drivers, replacing the headset itself.. but still running into this problem.. i have no idea what to do... any thoughts? |

first try disabling all other recording devices, especially the built-in mic if you're using a laptop:
Disabling non-essential Audio Devices - Vista/Windows-7 Windows Control-Panel > Sound > Playback & Recording tabs > rt-click in the window and select "Show Disabled Devices" and "Show Disconnected Devices" > rt-click on all unused devices and select "disable" check the properties for the mic device, look for any setting that might enable the mic to be always on: start > control panel > sounds > recording tab > select device > properties if you still have a problem then post the following plz: DXDIAG Start > Run Dxdiag Click the 'Save All' button File is saved to the desktop as "DxDiag.txt" Copy/paste the information (up to, and including, the [PS/2 Devices] section) to the forum. The information will have to be separated into multiple posts due to the maximum character limitation. |
