Ventrilo Tech Support - View Single Post - PTT only works when ventrilo is active application

I read the troubleshooting thread and changed my PTT key to one that isn't used by my game (Guild Wars) but i can only PTT when Ventrilo is my active application?
what else could this be and how can i fix it?
