Same problem here. Odd thing is that the status link on Vent's website shows the server is up and running. Yet the client (locally and via internet) are hung up with the "contacting server" message.

On the server side, I've tried disabling the firewall and putting the host computer in the dmz. There's not AV software running. I've got all the proper ports forwarded (3784 tcp/udp and 6100 upd) on a dlink 655. I've hard rebooted everything.

On the client side, I can connect to other vent servers just fine.

Any suggestions?
