Well, I have object dock, and that does a little...

Well, I have object dock, and that does a little bit of monitoring on my RAM usage and such, plus my computer has a built in temperature gauge, but I doubt that's it.

I'm using XP Pro SP2.
The device is a Gamecom headset, but the noise has persisted previous to this headset. It uses just two normal Mic/speaker jacks.

For some reason, whenever I am talking, people complain about a constant beeping, I've used the record feature built into my computer, and can hear it on there too, I guess this isn't really a vent...

I think I got it

Apparently what was happening was my inbound was turned up to ten, and his outbound was turned up to ten, plus he had a really loud mic, and Vent, to protect my speakers, was automatically muting him...

So in vent, I can hear everyone and have no problems, but one specific person I can't hear. Everyone else can understand him, but I can't. I hear maybe a second of him talking, then it turns to...
