ok, let's try this test:
in the recording tab, disable the realtek mic and stereo mix. it's possible they're bleeding over as those 2 are stereo but the BT is mono also disable the realtek speakers. you can re-enable them once we figure this out. |
Didn't fix it either.
However I noticed that the sound distorts while I'm in the recording tab, but if I disable the Bluetooth mic it works fine. Really odd. I have no issues when I use Skype. So vent works fine if I'm not using the Bluetooth input device but the mic built into the computer. Naturally a built in mic normally has crappy sound input. |
ok, that's why it sounds bad in vent if it sounds bad in the recording tab.
can you temp disable Skype then listen in the recording tab again. in thinking about this I remember that vent disconnects from the mic when going into setup, which is why it sounds good at that point. can you post pics of the windows taskmanager/processes tab. I see if there's anything else running that we can try disabling |
