Vent troubles pls help
 

alright so i just got my mac today. I play world of warcraft so i need to be in game and be able to talk to my guild. However it is only letting me talk when i have the vent window chosen. Why is this and how do i fix this. I can't talk while surfing the internet or doing anything unless i have the vent window clicked. Pls help this is really frustrating.
