couldnt find this certian issue
 

when i start vent i get the first 1/10 of a sec startup sound then it locks my system for about 10 -15 seconds while it starts vent.

also while in vent if i try to go into setup it locks my system for about 1 minute while the setup screen pops up then everything is fine once it's up , until i close the setup options then the same thing occurs , about a 1 minute complete lock on the system and then everything is normal again.

also i'm having trouble with the overlay not wanting to move at all when move manually is selected, and i'd like to see it transparent with just who's talking visable , just can't seem to figure it out.

dell laptop studio 17
vista64bit ultimate
6 gig ram
core2 duo 2.93
x-fi pcm/cia external soundcard
ati 4650 mobile 1 gig

i'm not sure what other info is needed , i can supply a dxdiag if needed though.

ensure that the laptop drivers are update, especially the audio and video drivers.

I'm wondering if your RAM is working properly. Also the studios have had some MOBO issues. If you haven't solved this, let me know. Might be a hardware issue, not a vent issue.
